Bitcoin's Climate Prodigy-Margot Paez

Margot Paez is a PhD candidate and Fellow at the Bitcoin Policy Institute in Renewable Energy and Environmental Studies. Working for N.A.S.A in their Jet Propulsion Laboratory hasn't stopped Margot from understanding how important Bitcoin is as a form of monetary energy. 

In this interview on The Bitcoin Source, we discuss Bitcoin's sustainability, Bitcoin's expansion into outer space, and a climate science approach to our energy future.   

"I personally believe Bitcoin isn't wasting energy because it is securing the network and does play a really important role in making sure that you can't do a double spend or take over the network. You have a sense of security knowing that the mining is doing that so the value is secure and that is really important on a network not built on trust." -Margo Paez
